We will meet at 8:00 am for light refreshments, then hear from Amy Wachob, President/CEO, as she presents, Beyond the Stores. This presentation gives the audience on an in-depth look of Goodwill Industries and our impact within the community. Most in our region think of Goodwill as a secondhand clothing store, or a place to donate material goods. People question, where does the money go from the sale of my donated items? Why should I donate to Goodwill? Is Goodwill a nonprofit or for-profit? What is Goodwill’s mission? Beyond the Stores will answer all of those questions, and more! You will leave knowing that the iconic brand image represents lives transformed by a hand-up and the Power of Work!
